Meet the Author
Pastor Larfreda Yarborough
Larfreda ‘Lady Free’ spent 30 years in the beauty industry, and for 17 of them her salon chair doubled as an altar where women got their hair done and their hearts healed.
Through Worthy Girl Tribe she has mentored more than 100 women who felt stuck, unseen and held hostage by other people’s opinions.
Today she serves as Executive Pastor of Heart of Worship Church in Paterson, New Jersey, alongside her husband, Pastor DJ, and leads the DisruptHER movement for women ready to break free and occupy their calling.
